All the qualities are reflected in his brain child – the Shishu Sadan High School in Bandpur, Hooghly, West Bengal. And the proverbial woman behind the successful man is Mrs. Ashia Begum who looks into every detail and provides that touch of the extraordinary which makes the G.D. Established in May, 1999, to commemorate the memory of the late Mr. Kazi Rafikul Haque, father of the Secretary and Founder, Mr. Kazi Ekramul Haque, the Shishu Sadan High School is a Bengali Medium, Co-educational Higher Secondary School run by the Shishu Sadan Guidance Academy and has classes from Nursery to Class XII.

The School is a trendsetter in providing quality education through the latest in educational aids and equipment and providing some unique amenities and facilities to create the proper ambience for study. These include:Teacher-Student ratio of 1:20 for efficient teaching and learning.

Spacious and well-lighted classrooms to increase the efficiency of the students and teachers. High standards of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained in the school. Filtered water is served for drinking purposes. Each and every floor has enough washrooms and large no. of house keeping staff employed to keep the premises spotless and clean. A large fleet of three and four wheelers are there to help the distance students to reach the school. The travelling fares are very moderated and the transportation is maintained by a private travel agency. 

Utmost attention to safety and security of the students and staff, each and every class-rooms, corridors, staircases and the surroundings of the school is under the CCTV surveillance. Academically, the results have been extremely good with many students securing distinctions in all subjects. Twice our students have topped the Commerce Stream in Delhi in CBSE Class XII Exams. Many students have been securing Merit Certificates from C.B.S.E. for being among the top 0.1% in their subjects at All India level. In sports and other co-curricular activities the school’s students participate and observed the Red Letter Days. Annual Sports Meet is also observed by each and every students with great enthusiam.
